In progress - The Estonians

I shot with the intention of describing the threat of western culture upon the traditional culture of Estonia. My grand parents were both Estonian immigrants to the United States, and my mother grew up speaking Estonian. My only perception of the nation before going there myself was only of its traditional culture. Upon my arrival I perceived it as an American city with older buildings.

Long White Fingers is an artifact of images which does little to reinforce the possibility that man is inherently good, or that man is even conscious of his own irrelevance within the stream of biological history. Assuming humanity actually ever existed, this block of representations is quick to question the importance of the species. All we have ever been is a machine built for fucking, killing and consuming, with sexist, racist and xenophobic tendencies welded to the manifold of our being. Yet all we do is stand by and laugh maniacally at what has grown from the cesspool of our arrogance, produced by an endless chain of hands masturbating their neighbors as a prize for simply being alive.

First issue is a limited run of 50 hand assembled, hand numbered copies.
