Long White Fingers Issue #2
The nostalgia nearly drips right off of this one. It's practically embarrassing that none of us seem to be ready to tell our hometowns to fuck off forever. Here comes the large format work, apparently idealizing the rotten scraps of our past is paramount for us to comfort ourselves into thinking our childhoods aren't dead yet. Nick Law keeps it legitimate by dropping completely out of reality, giving us five intaglio prints. Neilson, though remaining a 35mm purist, looks fondly at his past though a pleasant haze. Eat it up while you can, surely the Vice magazine hipsters will be stealing the glory sooner than you think.
